Telehealth FAQs

Do I have to be physically in Maryland for telehealth visits?

Telehealth availability depends on clinical appropriateness and provider licensure requirements at the time of care.

Can telehealth be used for follow-up visits?

Yes. Follow-up care, medication management, therapy, and check-ins may be completed virtually when appropriate.

What if my internet disconnects during the session?

If your session is interrupted, our office will help reconnect you or provide next-step instructions.

Is telehealth for emergencies?

No. Telehealth is not for emergency or crisis situations requiring immediate medical attention.

If this is a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 for immediate crisis support. Esteem Healthcare does not provide emergency crisis response through this website.
